We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Anker PowerWave Base Pad got its highest, 9.2, rating from Technically Well, while the Twelve South PowerPic earned its best, 9, score from iMore. We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Phone Chargers, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites. Taking a look at the Twelve South PowerPic, it got featured in roundups from two reliable sources that conduct their own testing - iMore and The Independent - but it fell short of earning a top spot in either. It did great in its " The Best Qi Wireless Charger for iPhone and Android Phones" roundup where it was named its "Budget pick", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering. One of the banner features of iOS 15 and macOS Monterey is Live Text, which lets you select text that is present in images, whether it’s text in a screenshot or on a picture of a sign or a menu or a t-shirt. The Anker PowerWave Base Pad was loved by reviewers at Wirecutter (NYTimes), a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing.

With Image Capture, we attached her phone to her Mac via USB, selected it in the app, and then used the Date field to sort images in chronological order. This lets you drill down to the problem, while also accomplishing the task (like importing media) for sections of the overall set you’re working on. She tried to import all images, and it would appear to make progress, but then fail with a lengthy error message listing problematic images, and an incomplete state of what was imported. In my wife’s case, however, Image Capture stopped working.
